PICKY, PICKY, PICKY
Picky Picky Picky sells outdoor equipment and clothing from a wide variety of manufacturers. its’ roots however, were in selling surplus military gear to the public.
FEATURES
The remodeled space is an updated and refurbished example of classic grocery store design of the fifties and early sixties -a surplus building, if you will. The facade is notable for its restored arch top storefront that floods the interior space with outdoor light.
One notable challenge of this project was insulating and finishing the curved interior ceiling without going to the exorbitant expense of drywalling and painting the curved surface. Pacific Builders was successful in utilizing inexpensive stock plastic panels for a clean, handsome finish, in keeping with the product lines sold on the sales floor below
