HANK'S COFFEEHOUSE AND GENERAL STORE
Pacific Builders was honored to be a part of the re-creation of this neighborhood center and gathering spot for the community of Bayside. In 2004, the builders were asked to construct owner Lisa Hansen’s vision of an attractive, comfortable coffee house and café. This vision was to replace a dilapidated building that had served as “Hanks”, a neighborhood market, for generations of Bayside residents.
FEATURES
Working with Lisa Hansen and architect Kash Boodjeh, Pacific Builders transformed the 50’s era stucco box into a friendly environment, with warm colors, slate flooring, craftsman detailing and a modern kitchen. The transformation allows Hanks to provide a respite spot for residents and parents picking up and dropping off their children at the nearby Jacoby Creek School. The coffeehouse has also become a popular spot for informal meetings.
