ARCATA PLAZA CENTER
Construction of the Arcata Plaza Center has filled in a long vacant corner of the historic Arcata Plaza, fulfilling the long term goal of the City of Arcata and the downtown business community to have a building with the architectural integrity to enhance downtown life.
FEATURES
The Plaza Center is a three story multiple use building, with three restaurants and two retail spaces in 9000 square feet on the first floor, office space with long term tenants on the second floor and six upscale apartments gathered around a central courtyard on the third floor.
Construction of the Plaza Center involved successfully meeting several challenges, including providing the mechanical infrastructure for multiple uses, building to the property lines on all sides with no room for onsite storage and designing safe and secure access for the residential tenants.
